Casey Ballenger

Director of Projects

Casey Ballenger is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in right-of-way acquisition, project management, and leadership within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Since joining Twisted Land Company in February 2025, Casey has successfully led multiple large-scale projects with precision and consistency, earning him a promotion to Director of Projects, where he now oversees project execution and team performance across multiple regions.

Casey’s career began with Koch Pipeline in South Louisiana, where he discovered his passion for right-of-way acquisition and developed a strong foundation in pipeline operations. He went on to lead the Right-of-Way Department for EOG Resources’ Barnett Shale Division, managing a team of fifty and overseeing major acquisition programs.

His project management experience includes serving as Project Manager for MPLX, overseeing right-of-way operations for West Texas Permian Basin assets; Project Manager for Apex Clean Energy, managing wind farm development in South Texas; and Project Manager for Oncor Electric Delivery, where he spent over 12 years negotiating easements for extensive distribution power lines across Texas. Most recently, he served as Lead for RWE Clean Energy’s South Texas repower initiatives, directing complex repower project execution and stakeholder coordination.

Before joining Twisted Land Company, Casey was the Co-Owner and President of Pony Express Land Services, a company he founded in 2007 and successfully grew into a respected name in the right-of-way and land services industry. His strategic insight, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence continue to drive project success and client satisfaction at Twisted Land Company.
