Candice Crutchfield

Candice Crutchfield founded Twisted Land Company, and thirty-four years in the field is what stands behind it. She built her name in oil and gas and energy the hard way, as an independent contractor working title and acquisition for operators, brokers, and landowners across the country. Leasing, curative, remote title reviews, internal title audits through major mergers, and compliance work in front of the regulatory offices that decide whether a project moves. She has run large-scale projects across multiple states and walked every rung to get here: agent, title supervisor, crew chief, acquisition lead, and now founder and president.

In 2018, an unexpected health event forced her to pivot, hence the name Twisted. She learned to function again, built her company, and then grew it into more than it had been. She does not make much of it. When Candice sets a goal, she gets there, and whatever is standing in the way is just part of the route. That’s the drive clients trust with the hardest files on the table, and it’s the standard she hires to. The people who join Twisted meet it or they move on.

That same drive shows up in the record. Her work spans FERC, BIA, BLM, and RRC across transmission, utilities, water infrastructure, rural development, and renewables in Oklahoma, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Wyoming, the Dakotas, and New Mexico. She has partnered with Chesapeake (now Expand), Access Midstream, Boardwalk Pipeline, Oryx Midstream, Oxley, Meade, PEC, Devon, Continental Resources, EnLink, DOT, and PSO.

Candice studied Business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and keeps deep roots in both industry and agriculture. She is an active member of AAPL, the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, TAPL, HAPL, and IRWA (Chapters 8, 27, 33, and 36), along with the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, and the Pittsburg County Cattlewomen’s Association. She is an OSU Cattle Master and active with the Southwest Texas Cattle Association. She is also serving her fifth elected term as Chairman of Rural Water District #11, working hand in hand with USDA, OERB and ORWA to strengthen the infrastructure and resources rural communities run on.

Behind every one of those credentials is the same person, someone who decided a long time ago that the work gets done right no matter what it costs her to do it. That’s Candice. That’s the company she built.
