Our journey began in 2000, when CEO Candice Crutchfield embarked on her lifelong career as a Landman in the Oil and Gas sectors of Oklahoma and Texas. Over the years, her expertise expanded to nationwide projects. Candice held multiple roles across the energy industry, including Asset/M&A Title Auditor and ROW Curative Operations Auditor. After witnessing valuable time and resources being lost to avoidable title mistakes, inefficient staffing, and legal obstructions, Candice envisioned a better way forward.

In partnership with COO Erika Sackey, an accomplished executive with experience across various industries, they founded Twisted Land Company. Together, they recognized the universal need for transparency, accountability, and an “all hands on the table” approach in land services. With over 50 years of combined experience, Candice and Erika set out to offer a higher standard of service, focused on precision, reliability, and client satisfaction.
