Land Agents-Wind and Solar

Twisted Land Company is seeking skilled Land Agents to support Wind and Solar project developments in NY, OH, MD, VA and DE. The primary responsibility is to negotiate and secure land agreements to meet project development pipeline goals, support ongoing field-based needs, and guide projects through various stages, from acquisition to operations.  

*We are seeking agents close to the Northeast/East region as this is key. A Day Rate will be offered as well as per diem and travel costs for the right candidates. Please include your closing percentage for relevant projects in your cover letter along with references.  

Responsibilities: 

Land Agent: 

• Initiate landowner relationships for securing land agreements. 

• Assist with obtaining key project documents under supervision. 

• Support land acquisition campaigns and contract negotiations. 

• Provide regular project updates and status reports. 

• Conduct stakeholder engagement as directed by the Manager of land Acquisition. 

• Follow corporate land acquisition policies. 

• Aid in community relations and ongoing landowner communications. 

Qualifications: 

Land Agent Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in; Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 

• Minimum 5 years of land acquisition experience. 

• RL, RPL, or CPL certification through AAPL is preferred. 

• Contract drafting skills and familiarity with land principles. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 

• Ability to work independently and travel 50% or more. 

Working Conditions: 

• 50% in-office environment; 50% field-based visiting landowners and attending meetings. 

• Regular travel is required across project locations in Illinois and Texas. 

• Fiscal Responsibilities: Assist with forecasting and reporting on project land acquisition budgets.
